Rescuing a Grebe - Catherine - 06-07-2015

Just outside of Toronto a Grebe has been seen with a fish hook in her neck. The fishermen were fishing too close to her nest and have hooked her. She has two small chicks and they need her. She has been seen trying to pull the hook out.
Toronto Wildlife is going to try and rescue her. If they can do that, I am sure the hook can be removed.

I will let you know as soon as I hear something.

Success! The Grebe has been rescued, the hook has been removed and she is back in the water with her family.

Three cheers for the people at Toronto Wildlife for a job well done.
