It is beautiful to see how birds can create a home out of anything.
Some birds are clearly better nest builders than others. The poor little duck, her nest was a bit sparse.

Wow - how amazing!
The "ash tray nest" got me...LOL! Those birds aren't giving up smoking any time soon by the look of it! One good thing about the mama bird. She can't be too houseproud!

I couldn't believe some of the nests. Birds seem to think that many things we do are just for them. They love to nest in flower pots and signs.
There is a starling nest behind the sign at the reptile centre. Every year they put out food for the mother when she is feeding babies. She comes back every year.
I bet some of these amazing nests get built in the same places each year.
