Reptile rescue - Catherine - 11-04-2015

I was delighted to find that there are reptile rescuers out there. I am not the only one.

It all started when Amy and Jason were cleaning out a house for someone after tenants had moved out. They found a bearded dragon that had been left behind to die. They have been taking in damaged and abandoned reptiles ever since.

It is good to know that there are people out there who feel like I do about reptiles.
Jake Krinkle Snake needed a home and I needed to give him a home.

I admit I have never, nor would I have a reptile for a pet, I do admire those that do though.

It's good when there are rescuers of all creatures.

Reptiles are the unexpected pet. They are sweeter and more loving than people think. They are just very different.

They are certainly pretty pets and they feel upset when they are abandoned like any animal would. They are so much more dependent on us for their needs so it must be frightening when people stop caring for them.
