Giant Earthworms have been discovered on the remote Scottish island of Rum. They are three to four times the normal size of earthworms, and look more like small snakes.

I wonder how long these giant earthworms have been there. They are a new discovery, but that doesn't mean they are new.

They are big for earthworms, but they are not that big. They are still under a pound in weight.
I can see how they would be good for the soil. I wonder if there are giant earthworms elsewhere in the world. Maybe we should all be looking.

They are right, they are as big as a young corn snake.
