In this time of extinctions it is nice to hear about new species.
There is so much biodiversity. I hope we cherish it before we lose it.

The tortoise is amazing.
Even the extinct animals that made the list are interesting. We should at least be aware of what creatures have lived on this planet.

They are all amazing. Yes I like the giant Tortoise. I also like the tiny beetle.
It is amazing how we are always discovering things about this planet and her inhabitants, from the past or the present. Many we have never seen before.

The rainforest are so vast and isolated we have no idea what all lives in them.
We can't even guess at what lives in the oceans.
We lose a lot of species, but we still have many we do not know yet.
