A horse fell into a gully at a bad angle with his legs facing the wrong way. There was no way he could get himself out.
Local firefighters responded and with the help of a firetruck and a number of firemen they were able to rescue him.

Sometimes stories have happy endings. They had to hurry because the horse couldn't stay in that position for long. However he is a safe and well.

That was a good horse rescue! I bet Bodacious was very glad to get out of there. Good job again, firefighters!

No one wants to leave a horse trapped like that. Fire fighters are the greatest when it comes to animal rescues. The are creative too. It took some thinking to figure out how to move an animal as big as a horse. I hope Bodacious has enough sense to stay out of gullies from now on.
