Dog rescued from rubble after Italian earthquake - Tobi - 09-04-2016

A dog was pulled from the rubble of a collapsed building after surviving 9 days since the earthquake in Italy:

To see him run about thanking everyone, you'd think he had just been for a 4 hour car ride!
One tough dog.

Amazing! As you say, you would think that he'd just returned from an outing, not survived 9 days in a collapsed building. Lovely dog!

I am so glad to hear some good news out of Italy. What an incredible thing, rescuing a dog after all this time. He is one lucky dog and he clearly knows it.

The rescuers seemed really concerned for the dog - and one man actually checked his back and legs.

I think the rescuers are glad to find anyone alive. After all this time finding a dog alive is a miracle. It also tells them they are right to keep searching. There may be more people or pets alive and it would be wonderful if they were found in time.

The dog looked pretty good considering he was trapped all that time. He must have trusted that someone would come for him. Hope is a powerful thing. That is what keeps the rescuers going.
