Today, October 4th, is 2016 World Animal Day! Time to cuddle with my cats!

Since we are Animal Lovers Web Forum this is like a holiday for us. We should celebrate it in style. I did snuggle all my guinea pigs and give them a special dinner.

Thank you Tiger Lover! A day when hopefully, peoples' thoughts will turn to all animals.
What an amazing display of sparkly creatures Catherine! I like them all, but my favourites are:
The sparkly Elephant, the scintillating Lizard, and that star-studded Being at the end.....(what is it? It looks vaguely canine.
)And the lovely Angel Bear who reminds us of loved ones who have passed away from Earth.

I think we should have our own set of holidays that we celebrate. World Animal Day is top of the list. Earth Day on April 22 shares the number one spot with it. I am sure if we do a little research we will find a lot of important days that we should remember.
I think the star studded being is a wolf. I love the lizard too. Sadly I couldn't find a snake that didn't look menacing. That was not the image I wanted to portray. When I saw the angel-bear I thought of Misty and I wanted to acknowledge our absent friends.
I really like the cow and the hamster.
