Baby duck rescue - Catherine - 06-02-2017

Every spring baby ducks end up in strange places and we have to rescue them. This time it was Toronto Fire Fighters rescuing ducklings from a storm sewer.

The mama duck just seems to wait around with the rest of her brood until we rescue the lost ones. I think it is touching that ducks expect us to help them. Maybe humans are not so bad after all. Ducks like us. We mess up with lots of other animals, but we always rescue the ducklings.
