hello friends,
I am animal lover.I have a variety of pets in my home.
I searched for many forums related to animal lovers.I finally got one.Happy to get this forum and this is my first message in this forums.

Hi everyone!! I am Melanie Meow...I love cats!! They are my favorite animal..I used to keep fish as well, I loved having an aquarium in my apartment..I haven;t been able to get more fish because of the pandemic...I have had 3 cats since I was 14 years old..The first cat I had was a blue velvet named Becca..Dogs attacked her and she died..The next cat I had was named Oscar..He was part Siamese and he was my favorite cat...He lived 14 years and got kidney failure, so I had to put him down..The third cat I got which I have now is a calico named Tiffany..I got her in 2014...I loved all of my cats!! I also used to keep fish..I currently don'tkeep fish now because I can't go and get any due to the pandemic..I love goldfish and black moors the best....I also want a dog, but, I don't think my parents will let me have one..I love Rottweilers the most....8-]]

Welcome to the forum. Cats are great to live with and we all love them. I have had some beautiful cats over the years. I don't have a cat now. Mostly I have smaller animals, like the bunny who i sitting on my lap right now.
I have had fish too. I had goldfish and koi. They were even able to live outside in a pond for a while.
It is too bad you can't get more fish right now. There are lots of things we can't do, but you will be able to get more fish when things settle down.
Things will settle down.
You will probably even have a dog someday.

I am sorry about what happened to Becca. Poor little girl.
Oscar lived a good long life though it is always so sad when we have to let them go. If he was part Siamese, I bet he was super intelligent.
It would be nice to get more fish one day. The pandemic won't last forever. But I am sure you miss them.
Yes, please do tell us more about Tiffany, if and when you feel like it.
I might be wrong.....but don't think she would thank you for getting a Rottweiler! I can imagine there would be a whole lot of hissing and batting of dog's nose going on!
Your parents are probably being sensible about that at the moment.
I think it's different when cats and dogs grow up together from puppies and kittens. Then they behave like littermates and seem to forget they are cats, or dogs.
