8 rescue seal pups return to the ocean - Catherine - 12-17-2017
I was a happy sad day in Vancouver. After a long summer of caring for the orphaned pups it was time to say goodbye.
They were strong enough and old enough to return to the ocean and carry on their lives as Harbour Seals.

The goal was to raise them and release them and that was a success, but it must feel sad to see the little guys go out into the big world. They are so cute. I know I would miss them after they were gone.
