Sad day at London Zoo - Catherine - 12-24-2017
Sadly some animals died when a fire broke out at London Zoo. Fire fighters and zoo keepers acted heroically so most animals were saved.

Zoos are so vulnerable when there is a fire. It is hard to get everyone to safety.

It is a good thing that there were people on the zoo property. An early response and quick thinking probably saved a lot of lives.
It is sad though. Little animals are so vulnerable in a situation like that.
