After 28 years of research Nan Hauser has proof that whales are intuitive creatures. She was swimming with a Hump Backed Whale when a Tiger Shark approached. She didn't even see the Tiger Shark at first. The whale saw it and moved to shield her with his fin.

How interesting that whales feel protective towards us. Does the whale understand the work she does? Do whales protect all humans or just some. It is an incredible rescue. The whale certainly understood the danger she was in and wanted to help her.
We have a lot more to learn about whales. They are capable of more than we thought.
