Canada could ban cosmetic testing on animals - Catherine - 01-22-2018
Canada has Bill S-214 before the Senate. It is an amendment of the Food and Drugs Act and it has already been passed by a senate committee. If it finally passes all levels of government it will outlaw cosmetic testing on animals.

This is a big victory for animals in Canada. There would be no more animals suffering for the sake of a new shade of eye shadow. It is not certain yet that it will pass, but polls show that Canadian want this. The government wants this.
Now we just have to hope that this can actually happen. Many of us only use products not tested on animals. Wouldn't it be nice if no one used products tested on animals. Certainly it would be nicer for the animals.
