Any new outfits produced for England's Queen Elizabeth will no longer use real fur. Instead they will make the fashion statement that real fur is no longer acceptable and that modern fur substitutes are fit for a queen.

Since the Queen has been known to wear fur regularly, this is quite a change. Even if she occasionally wears fur that she already has, nothing designed for her now will have fur. That means the Queen has made a choice against fur and so have her designers.
If she can do it at her age then so can everyone else.

Fur is no longer acceptable as a fashion choice. We can no longer pretend that all fur involves animal cruelty.
Having someone like the Queen publicly renounce fur is going to influence a lot of people.
Someday the idea of wearing fur will be history and people we have a hard time believing it really happened.

Thank-you. If we all choose not to wear fur they will stop selling it. We have the power to stop the fur trade. Our choices matter.
