Dog stays with homeless owner's body - Catherine - 02-17-2020
Police officers found a homeless man in a back alley. He had been dead for a day and his dog was watching over him.
They coaxed the dog with food and were able to rescue her. One officer took her to a local shelter and as soon as his shift was over he went back to foster her and then later adopted her. He named her Alley for where he found her.

What a loyal dog. She stayed in the cold with no food or water with an owner who was dead. I am glad she was rescued in time. It is special that the police officer who saved her was the one who adopted her. After a hard life she now has a life of comfort. She really deserves it.
