Rule change in the USA could kill millions of birds. - Catherine - 03-06-2020

It has taken years to establish rules that protect birds and their habitats.  Because there are heavy fines, companies avoid killing birds and are careful not to do it again after they have been made to pay.
Removing those rules will open things up for polluters to kill birds. There will be no incentives to protect the birds.

As a Canadian this makes me angry because many of the birds that will die, should have lived and eventually migrated to Canada.
Bad planning and bad environmental practices effect more that on country. When it comes to ecology we are all in this together.

When my garden has few birds in it in the summer I will know who to blame.
