Questions and answers about pets and Covid 19 - Catherine - 03-30-2020

Pet owners have a lot of questions about Covid 19 and their pets. The big one is always can my pet get the virus and the answer is no.
It is good to ask the question and think about your pets safety.

The best advice seems to be keep washing your hands and avoid social contacts. That would mean avoiding strangers on walks with you pet. Don't handle your pet if you are sick.  These are simple things. If we are all careful we should come through this okay.
Pets can be wonderful companions while we are staying home. If we use lots of soap and water we should all be safe.
