Cleaners you shouldn't use around pets. - Catherine - 05-06-2020 Right now we are all busy doing extra cleaning. That is a good thing. However if you have pets you need to be careful in your choice of cleaners. Some are toxic to animals. https://www.realhomes.com/news/the-cleaning-products-you-should-never-use-around-pets We all know by now not to use bleach on surfaces the pet will walk on. Ammonia and a number of other chemicals are equally toxic. Rinsing the cleaned area and keeping the pet off it until it is dry is a step. I prefer to use pet friendly cleaning products. One more thing. Never mix bleach with anything but water. |
