Cleaners you shouldn't use around pets. - Catherine - 05-06-2020

Right now we are all busy doing extra cleaning. That is a good thing. However if you have  pets you need to be careful in your choice of cleaners.
Some are toxic to animals.

We all know by now not to use bleach on surfaces the pet will walk on. Ammonia and a number of other chemicals are equally toxic. Rinsing the cleaned area and keeping the pet off it until it is dry is a step. I prefer to use pet friendly cleaning products.

One more thing. Never mix bleach with anything but water.
