London Cathedral holds service for resident stray cat - Catherine - 11-01-2020
Doorkins Magnificat arrived at a London Cathedral in 2008. She was a cold, hungry stray and they welcomed her. She made the church her home and became part of the community. Sadly her health failed and she died on Sept 30, 2020. A memorial service was held for her and she was laid to rest in the churchyard.
Because of the pandemic the gathering had to be small so the service was live streamed and thousands have watched it.

This is so touching. I love the fact that they welcomed the cat all those years ago. Holding a service for her was a beautiful gesture.
I also love the cats name. This is a wonderful story.
