Wisdom the albatross is 70. She has outlived the biologist who placed a band on her leg in 1956.
She has had about 30 chicks. She is considered the oldest known wild bird. She has outlived multiple mates.
I think I remember posting that she had a chick at 68 years old.

Now she is 70 and she has done it again. Wisdom is a remarkable bird.

I think Wisdom is well named. Think of what she must have learned in 70 years. Also think of having a baby at 70. That is something you don't expect from an animal that is much younger. she is incredible bird. I wish she could tell us all that she knows.
