Abel the loyal guide dog led his human, Ken, safely for many years. When Abel's own sight failed he carefully led Ken along their usual route by memory.
When it was finally found out that Abel was blind, Ken took on a younger guide dog called Gay. Ken kept Abel with him and now when they go for a walk, Gay, the younger guide dog leads both of them.

Abel's loyalty and determination to serve is beautiful. Equally beautiful is Ken keeping Abel and letting the younger dog guide them both.
