Wildlife Photographer of the year 2021 - Catherine - 09-03-2021 The 2021 Wildlife Photographer of the year contest has produced some of the most stunning pictures I have even seen. The range of animals represented is remarkable. https://www.ndtv.com/offbeat/stunning-pics-from-wildlife-photographer-of-the-year-2021-2527100 I don't know how they ever choose winners. There are amazing pictures showcasing skill and timing. How many hours of photography are needed before you capture a Golden Tree Snake and a Tokay Gecko. The outcome of that situation is not so certain. Capturing a picture of numerous Cheetahs swimming a river together is a once in a lifetime shot. We are getting rare glimpses into the lives of animals with pictures like these. I am going to add these pictures to this thread. There is a Bird Photographer of the year contest. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/gallery/2021/sep/01/2021-bird-photographer-of-the-year-winners The pictures are incredible! RE: Wildlife Photographer of the year 2021 - Catherine - 09-10-2021 The BC SPCA had its own photo contest and they had some good results. https://bc.ctvnews.ca/a-photo-of-a-raccoon-climbing-out-of-a-trash-can-with-a-hot-dog-wins-b-c-spca-award-1.5579296 I love the raccoon and the hotdog. That is something you would expect to see in Toronto. RE: Wildlife Photographer of the year 2021 - Catslave - 09-14-2021 I love wildlife photos. RE: Wildlife Photographer of the year 2021 - Catherine - 09-15-2021 These are really good pictures. I love seeing what photographers can do. |
