A swarm of Budgies in the Australian Outback - Catherine - 12-07-2021
It has been a good year for the budgies and their numbers are up. So it is possible to see flocks of thousands of them come to the watering holes to drink.
Seeing that many budgies at once is a rare sight and not one that happens every year.

Can you imagine standing there seeing the budgies fly like that in huge clouds of green and gold.
It is a sight you would never forget. I am glad someone was there to see it and get pictures.
I can't imagine that many budgies. Once in a while nature gives us a show that must be seen to be believed.
