Storm Eunice destroys Devon Birds of Prey Centre - Catherine - 02-22-2022

When the storm Eunice hit it did a lot of damage. In particular it destroyed the aviaries at the Devon Birds of Prey Centre. Birds escaped, but so far all but one have been found unharmed. They are still looking for Zen the Red Tailed Hawk. It is hoped that he is still in the area and will be spotted soon. The public has been asked to look for him.
Now they are asking for donations to help them rebuild.

It is rough when a storm can do that kind of damage. I am sure many places have been damaged, but a bird sanctuary needs to be up and running as soon as possible. They have many birds to care for and no doubt more birds will come in. I wish them success in their rebuilding and I do hope Zen comes home soon.
