Network For Animals helping Ukraine abandoned pets - Tobi - 03-12-2022 This is Network For Animals, https://networkforanimals.org/about/ This is what they are doing in the Ukraine, https://networkforanimals.org/?s=Ukraine And one of the links from the list there: https://networkforanimals.org/appeal/ukraine-emergency-update-march-8/ Any donation will be welcomed obviously. RE: Network For Animals helping Ukraine abandoned pets - Catherine - 03-12-2022 I have heard of Network For Animals. I didn't realize their founder is the one who stopped the killing of new born seals in Canada. That was a big thing. I know they do good work in situations like the war in Ukraine. It sounds like they need actual food shipments to be brought into the country. Of course the pet food production would be stopped. Many buildings have been destroyed by deliberate shelling. They wouldn't spare pet food manufacturers. I hope they can get some of the animals out of the war zone to safety. Those they can't safely move do need to be fed where they are. These are incredible people and they are putting themselves in danger. I hope the world rallies to help fund their work. They are going to need all the help they can get. RE: Network For Animals helping Ukraine abandoned pets - Catherine - 03-13-2022 I found an article about the vet clinic on the boarder. https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/12/world/animals-pets-rescued-ukraine/index.html They are doing everything they can. I hope the animals make and I hope one day they can be reunited with their families. |
