| Community donates ice to local shelter to keep the dogs cool during a power outage - Catherine - 06-17-2022 The Franklin County Dog Shelter in Columbus Ohio lost power on a very hot day. They put out a call for ice to keep the dogs cool. Very quickly, dozens of dog owners donated hundreds of bags of ice. They put out a call for other items and they got those too. The power is back on and now the shelter is well supplied with ice and anything else they need. https://people.com/pets/ohio-community-donates-ice-to-shelter-dogs-during-power-outage/ It is wonderful to see how people respond when there is a crisis.
