Helping a weak Bee - Watto Photos - 06-22-2022

I saw a little bee clinging to a bush on a hot summer day in England. The little bee looked tired and weak, so I let it walk onto my hand and gave the little guy some water and then some sugar water. After about 20 minutes, I put the bee on a leaf and it flew off looking a lot stronger.

I saw this video on another forum. Well done, Watto! You have made an impressive video and you deserve credit for your compassion and concern for a living creature.

(I have corrected the link to your video, as it contained a typing error. It now works OK.)

That is some impressive footage of a bee. The detail we is incredible.
It is also wonderful that you helped a bee like that. I am glad she was able to fly off in the end.

You remind me that the hot weather has come and I need to put out water dishes for bees. On a hot day a little water can really help a thirsty bee.
