Rare lizard spotted in Ontario warehouse - Catherine - 08-25-2022
An uncommon five lined skink was spotted in an Ontario warehouse. It scurried out from under some boxes and disappeared. They did get a picture and it is a five lined skink, the only lizard that lives in Ontario. Seeing it there gives hope that there are more in the area.

Maybe the lizard lives in the warehouse. It would be warm enough and damp. I am sure there are insects for food. We have taken over so much of their natural habitats. Maybe they have learned to adapt.
Any skinks that want to wander into my place are welcome. I promise to keep a food supply on hand.
