Cat left behind in Ukraine, reunited with family in California - Catherine - 10-31-2022
A family in Ukraine had to flee the war. They could tale nothing, including their beloved cat.
They were settling into life in California, but the young daughter could not get over the loss of her cat.
Through connections with a stewardess, they were able to find someone to rescue the cat and bring her to California.

This is an amazing story. After you have fled your country with nothing, you don't expect to get anything back, especially not a cat.
Somehow it just seems right that the little girl got her cat back. Or maybe it is the cat that got her little girl back.
Either way it is a happy ending to an unhappy situation.
