Dog gives birth in an outdoor nativity scene - Catherine - 12-23-2022

A town in Mexico set up a Nativity scene in the town square. It was sheltered by a small tent. Everything was quiet and then people noticed a dog lying in the manger. Then they noticed that the dog was not alone. She had a litter of puppies.
The town decided to let her stay and started looking after her. When they are old enough the puppies will be adopted.

I think she is a clever dog for finding a safe, sheltered place to have puppies. I think the town shows itself to be a good place by the way they responded to the presence of the dog and her puppies. It is a beautiful story about love and acceptance and hope for mother dog and her babies. If that doesn't put you in the Christmas spirit I don't know what will.
