Chimpanzee Forest reserve threatened by local hunters - Catherine - 02-12-2023
The Edumanom forest reserve in southern Nigeria is home to a number of chimpanzees. However there existence is threatened by hunters who roam the forests.
There are laws to protect the chimps, but they are not being enforced. Hunters have even posted pictures and boasted about killing animals.

It might be good publicity to have a forest reserve, but it does the animals no good if they are not protected.
The world stands to lose so much if we don't act to save the chimpanzees.
