Flying squirrel found covered in spray foam - Catherine - 03-27-2023
An unfortunate flying squirrel got himself covered in spray foam. He must have been in a wall when the foam was used. It had hardened and left him in a very bad way. The Cape Wildlife Center took him in and got to work. They had to anesthetize him, but they got all the foam off. Sadly he lost a lot of fur, but it will grow back. The Center will care for him until he is okay.

Squirrels get themselves into the oddest places. Good thing somebody saw him. Without help he would not have survived.
He looks kind of sad without fur on his face, but I bet he will do well once it grows back.
