On a very hot day in Columbia, someone walking past an air-conditioned clothing store noticed a dog sleeping in the window.
She checked it out and it turns out that the employees regularly feed strays and let them cool off in the store.

It is a beautiful act of kindness. Just letting the dog have a little comfort in its life makes such a difference. Strays have so little. They have no homes to go to.
Just a few hours in a cool safe place is everything when you have nothing. The people on that store are good people.
