After 4 years in a shelter, Sailor is going home. - Catherine - 10-31-2023
Sailor is a Chihuahua mix. He was taken in after Hurricane Dorian be Second Chance Animal Rescue in the Windsor area.
He does have a compressed vertebrae so he is handicapped. It is sometimes harder to place a handicapped pet.
It took four years, but finally, Sailor has a forever home.

Poor little dog, four years is a long time. Even though we know he was loved and cared for, he was still at a shelter. It is just not the same thing as being at home. I am glad he finally got a happy ending.
If you ever want to get a dog, there are lots of wonderful dogs waiting shelters for someone to take them home.
