Toronto Zoo opens new outdoor Orangutan habitat - Catherine - 11-05-2023
For year the Toronto Zoo has been wanting and planning an outdoor Orangutan habitat. At last it is a reality. It was opened a few months ago, but it has taken the Orangutans time to get used to the idea. It will give the Orangutans a natural space to just be Orangutans. There are things to climb and trees. It is perfect for them.

I need to get out to the zoo for a visit and see the outdoor habitat in action. I have seen the habitat, but the Orangutans were not using it yet.
It really is beautiful. They are going to love it. It is good that they have a space like this for Orangutans. They are gentle, intelligent creatures and exploring the new place will keep them busy and entertained for a long time.
