Snake rescued from discarded can - Catherine - 12-02-2023
A snake catcher in Tasmania rescued a poisonous snake from a discarded can. Once a snake gets its head in a can it can't get out with out help.
Death would be slow. It would take days for the snake to die of dehydration.

The snake catcher is begging people to crush their cans before throwing them out. Also do not litter. Throw cans out properly.
Every year snakes end up in trouble. Very likely some are not found and they die horribly.
Snakes are probably not the only animals getting caught in cans. Please do not litter.

Why would a snake hide inside a bathroom scale?
Reptiles end up in the weirdest places.
Notice I consider the snake was rescue from the humans, not the humans were rescued from the snake.
