Pesticide use reduces the size of Bumble Bee colonies - Catherine - 01-30-2024

Bees are exposed to pesticides and the effect is bad. Bumble Bees in Europe are being exposed to multiple pesticides. Dome colonies were exposed to as much at 27 different pesticides. This has caused a decline in the colony size.  Sadly the European Parliament voted against restricting pesticide use in November 2023.

We can't keep this up. Bees are declining because of our pesticides. We want more crop yields, but without the bees we will do less well.
Our current solution is to use even more pesticides.  Perhaps using less would bring more benefits.

Just a thought, if pesticides are harming bees, what will they do to us over time?
