Quebec bans cosmetic procedures on pets - Catherine - 02-11-2024
Quebec has banned declawing of cats, ear and tail cropping for dogs and vocal cord removal for dogs.
Veterinarians in Quebec were already against the procedures. Now they are officially prohibited.
These bans are taking place world wide. In Canada Ontario is now the only province that does not ban these procedures.

This is a good step in the right direction. Canada has almost banned cruel cosmetic surgeries for pets.
You have to wonder what it wrong with Ontario.
