$50,000 reward offered after 3 wolves found dead. - Catherine - 02-12-2024 Three endangered grey wolves were found dead in Southern Oregon. These wolves were wearing tracking devices. One was a breeding female. The other two were sub adults. These wolves are protected by the Endangered Species Act. They were part of the Gearhart Mountain Pack. The pack is down to 7 members. The reward is offered for any information that leads to arrest and conviction for those responsible for the wolf deaths. https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/11/us/oregon-endangered-gray-wolf-death-reward/index.html Wolves are still being hunted even though it is illegal. I think they need a conviction in this case to make a point. The pack is now so small that it might not survive as a pack.  People still don't understand how critical wolves are to the health of the ecosystem.
