Bee keeper to the rescue - Catherine - 05-25-2024

A hive of bees swarmed in down town Victoria, BC. They picked an electrical box as their focal point. Police had to close off the whole area for safety reasons.
Bee Keeper Francesco Nicoletti was called in to remove the bees. The bees were removed safely and all is well. People were even able to take pictures with the bees. As long as they were not disturbed they stayed peaceful.

Bee swarms are normal and they are a healthy sign that the hive is growing. When they get to a certain size, the hive needs to split.
As long as people stay calm and they get a bee keeper to move the bees everything ends well. I think it would be so exciting to see a swarm like that.
People in Victoria were really lucky and so were the bees.
