Dr Chris Brown is back and he advises against pet insurance - Catherine - 07-06-2024

We haven't heard much from Chris Brown in a while. He used to speak for a pet insurance company ten years ago. Now he advises setting up a bank account and putting the money you save on premiums in an account for veterinary expenses.

I haven't even thought about this. We all know vet bills can be outrageous. I don't know how good the insurance companies are about paying the bills.
If you were going to follow his advice you would have to be committed to putting the money away every month.
It would be worth doing some math and figuring out if he is right.

I hope we see moreĀ of Dr Brown in future.
