New Biotech will replace animal testing - Catherine - 08-22-2024
After many years and many lab animals used, with questionable results, new biotech is being produced that will replace the need for animals. The new biotech will give better and more accurate results. Animal testing screens out drugs that might have worked for humans. Biotech will not do that, but it will screen out toxic drugs that animal testing would have missed. Humans and animals are too biologically different.
Now that we are developing the will to change from animal testing, the methods are being developed.

It is complicated and different biotech is needed for different purposes. Laws will need to be changed. For safety reasons, animal testing was required. It was the only method available at the time. Now we can move beyond that, end the cruelty and get better results. It is happening. It is just going to take time for the transition to be complete. Many animals will die before we have fully changed to biotech methods. Hopefully they will be the last. It is happening. We will see an end to animal testing. It is not a matter of will it end, but when.

There is no reason to have animal testing any more not before time.

It should have been stopped a long time ago. We know it doesn't work and there are better more humane ways. We just get stuck in our ways.
