Missing Parrots found - Catherine - 10-30-2024
Two Blue Throated Macaws took off from the London Zoo, 6 days ago. The zoo put out an appeal to the public for information. They were found in someone's back garden, 60 miles away. When the keepers finally tracked them down, they flew right to them.
They are now safe back at the zoo and will be quarantined for a bit before being returned the the rest of their family.

I think they were just having some fun and probably didn't mean to travel so far. After all the zoo feeds them very well. Out there in the world, the meals would not be so great. I am glad they were found safe. The two sisters are a critically endangered species and everyone of them is important to species survival.
