Lost dog rings doorbell to announce return - Catherine - 12-29-2024
A German Shepherd in Florida went missing on Dec 15. They searched, but they couldn't find her.
Then at 2:30 am on Christmas morning the doorbell rang. It was the missing dog, standing on the doorstep with her foot on the doorbell.

What a happy surprise. They thought they would spend Christmas without their dog, but she made it home. She also announced her return rather dramatically.
I am sure they did not mind being awakened when they saw who it was at the door.

I love these stories too. Can you imagine opening the door and seeing your lost dog ringing the doorbell.
Never underestimate the family dog.
