This is a really good idea. Truck drivers going places connect with other drivers to get an animal to a location where it has a home waiting.

I love the fact that they take any kind of pet and get it to where it needs to go. They have even transported spiders. Not too many people will transport a tarantula.

Interesting that the idea for Operation Roger was born from the post Katrina situation. I think things have changed since Katrina. People were forced to leave their pets. I don't think that will ever happen like that again.

I have heard of this before. And those truckers do a wonderful job, bless them.

It is amazing how many groups are organizing to save pets and get them to good homes. There are also pilots who deliver animals.

The fact that they delivered a spider tells me that these people are really dedicated to saving animals.
