Pet water fountains, they are a good idea - Catherine - 05-26-2025

The latest trend is to have a water fountain for you dog or cat. It can seem a bit silly or extravagant to have a water fountain. However, their are health benefits.
The water would be cleaner. Bacteria would find it harder to grow in the moving water. The water would stay cooler.
Moving water is also more natural for a cat and dog.

Think about how often cats try and drink from our water taps. They will water that slowly drips from a tap. They don't want water in a bowl.
They want it to move. I know people who have water fountains for their cats and they do seem to love them.
It is worth thinking about. In the summer water can be nasty if it sits out all day.
They have some cute models and they would be hard to knock over.

Some cats seem to love them and others don't care.
I can see your daughter's cats and dog liking it. Odd that Edward didn't like it.
I don't think a guinea pig would like it.
