The Fox Project - Catherine - 06-11-2025

If a fox gets hurt in southern England, chances are the Fox Project/Southern Wildlife Ambulance Network will be there.
They pick up the fox  in need and take it back to a rescue site. The project has been going on for 34 years and has multiple sites.
It started with a few foxes in a garden shed. Now over 1400 foxes are rescued each year. Orphaned cubs are raised and given a chance to live as wild foxes.

They are now fundraising to build a bigger wildlife hospital.

There is certainly need for what they do. Many foxes would have been lost without the Fox Project.
I hope they are able to build the better, bigger facility. I bet it will be full as soon as they open.
There is always need for rescuers to help wildlife and foxes do seem to be very vulnerable.
