The View care home in Comox BC as a dementia village. It is a special place for people with dementia. It is designed to be more home like.
The Cats Society arranged to bring kittens to the Dementia Village. They were well received. Plans are to have kittens visit again, regularly.

This is a great idea. People with dementia may not be able to communicate with people, but they can relate to animals.
The trip to the dementia Village gives the kittens an outing. Everybody wins.
