We plant things in our gardens because we want them. We forget to check if they are safe for our pets.
Here are seven plants we should not have if we have a dog.

There are many more plants, but these are common ones.
If you have a dog who goes into your garden you might want to think about plant choices.
It would be sad to  poison  your own dog with your flower choices.

When we lived in France, there were lots of foxgloves growing wild around the edges of our field. They could have poisoned the alpacas, so I used to cut them and remove them. Some went for decoration as cut flowers, the rest sadly in the bin.

I love Foxglove, but they are too dangerous to have around. I am sure the Alpacas would have eaten them.
You hate to cut things down, but sometimes you have no choice.
